Why testing matters

Mold spores are always in the air at some level. What matters is the concentration, the species, and whether there's an active moisture source feeding growth inside your home. Elevated indoor counts are linked to coughing, congestion, headaches and worsened asthma, especially in kids and older adults.

Testing also protects you from the opposite problem: paying for remediation you don't need. Roughly half the homes we test turn out to need a small fix and a moisture correction, not a full containment job. We'd rather tell you that.
